The factory hood latches on the Jeep Wrangler TJ allow hood movement even at moderate speeds. Daystar Hood Wranglers upgrade the soft rubber on the factory latches with a heavy-duty polyurethane material that holds the hood securely in place. Installation is simple and maintains the factory look. No more shakes, no more flutter, and better peace of mind!

Daystar Hood Wranglers Reviews
Last me for 14 years
These will solve hood fludder. They are quite stiff at first but they loosen up and fit nicely over time. It's so nice not having my hood bounce on the interstate. Instructions state to install in 70° or warmer temperature. They are actually Made in USA too!
Had replaced the original hood latch rubbers in 2007 with the Daystar replacements, they were very stiff, so like a rubber band before installing them, I set them in the sun on the dash for about a half hour, then secured a M10x2.5" bolt in my bench vise with one end over the trapped bolt and using a Phillips screwdriver through the outer end hole and pulled and twisted for about 5 mins to pre-stretch, doing both and installed. They were still tight but I got them in with very little effort. They have lasted ten years, just noticed driver side is cracked so I am ordering a new set. Recommended.
