This fit right up. Basic and easy installation, but some basic instructions would have save some time. Took about an hour and half to replace.

Calling this a "skid plate" is misleading (a Jeep problem, not Quadratec). This skid plate holds the gas tank onto the frame. I bought this because I had to. My factory Skid Plate was so rusty (see pics of old next to the new) I was afraid the gas tank was going to fall out of the back of the Jeep! Only 7 bolts (3 along the front edge, 4 to the rear) hold this part on, so it should be a snap to install. Unfortunately for me, on my 2000 Jeep TJ, two of the 7 nuts were so rusted onto the bolts that it was like the nut and bolt had become one piece of metal. I had to cut these off with a cut-off tool. The bolts themselves were inside the frame, so it became a big PITA to get new ones in place. Once past all that, no problem - the part fit like a glove.

This mounted underneath my jeep and matched the previous version very well. Gage if the metal is good.

Just install to today. To do I right you need to jack the jeep up /with jack stands. I put 2 coats of undercoating to give it more protection/ I live close to salt water .
