2003 TJ- easy install but it does take some time, especially on an older, unmolested Jeep. Installing the behind the bumper carriage bolts is easier if you thread the spring end through the hole on the bumper side before attaching it to the bolt. The wiring kit instructions indicated that the connector was on the passenger side, but mine was on the driver’s side.

I installed this receiver hitch on my 03 TJ so I can take my bikes with me. Great product and easy enough to install. Just have some patience threading the bolts in the tight places.

Excellent quality but it's tricky to thread the coach bolts. Plenty of patience required!
