Our Premium Class II receiver hitch for TJ is Essential for having fun and getting things done. Simple bolt-on installation takes little tome to install with no vehicle modifications. Features the maximum allowed 2000-lb tow rating with a 200-lb tongue weight rating for Wrangler and a 3500-lb tow rating with a 350-lb tongue weight rating for Wrangler Unlimited. Other features included a welded mounting tab for our 4 pin hitch wiring kit with simple plug-n-play installation. Thick welded carbon steel construction is e-coated (anti-corrosion treatment) and powder coated for lasting durability. Best hitch for a Jeep, a little tricky installing the 2 crossmember bolts but well worth it.

Can the tow hitch be used as a recovery point? Is there a rating for that?
Yes this is ties into the frame and can be used as a recovery point with a Quadratec D-ring Mount . Thank you.

will this fit with the Rugged Ridge XHD Double Tube rear bumper. I don't want to have to cut the bumper below the tire or have an extension welded to make sure I have clearance below the bumper.
We have not test fit the hitch with tube bumpers but the side of the bumper mount saddles just require not to be covered by your current bumper mounts. Comparing the two products install instructions will be your best way to confirm. If you need assistance take pictures of access points and call 800-745-6037 and we can provide our best judgement.
