Reviews for Quadratec Tow Hitch Wiring Harness for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL

Although the video and instructions were great, I still took it to my local trailer shop to have it installed since I also needed a 7 pin connector added to the included 4 pin. This harness is 1/3 of the price Mopar is charging.

Just finished the install…. Super easy! Maybe took an hour… with beer breaks.
I haven’t hooked it up to my jet ski trailer yet, but I am certain it will work. My ONLY complaint is that I bought the Quadratec trailer hitch a few years back. My original intent was was to use it to attach my MTN bike rack. Well, a jet ski later,

EASY install!! Just remember, the harness that runs forward needs to go down the Driver's side. I needed this in a hurry and Quadratec came through right on time, THANKS!

Good quality, fits good and easy to install

No issues with the product, but the instructions say that you should route it over the suspensions cross member and follow the wiring loom up to the engine bay. If your JL is like mine, your wiring harness crosses over to the passenger side at the rear suspension cross member, which will get you to the engine bay with nowhere to fish up the remaining wiring. Upon rereading the instructions, you are supposed to end up on the driver side and fish up the wire by the brake booster, which is not where the wiring loom comes up to the front. There is a wrapped tube section for the brake lines, which is what they want you to follow up the frame rail. Hopefully this saves somebody some headache when they are installing.
