Paramount Automotive Canyon Rear Bumper for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK & 18+ Jeep Wrangler JL

Hey Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're checking out the Canyon series Rear bumper from Paramount Automotive for both the 07 to 18 Jeep Wrangler JKs as well as the newer 18 and up Jeep Wrangler JLs featuring the same great styling cues and construction methods as the Canyon front bumper and Canyon rock sliders you can round out the package and finish off the back of your Jeep with the Canyon rear bumper this clean and sleek design really earns its name because it's designed to traverse even the narrowest Canyons and trails with the best possible departure angles a featuring four millimeter thick plate steel construction that's press brake formed and fully welded it's then finished in a fine texture satin black powder coat finish and backed by paramount's lifetime structural warranty the Canyon bumper offers corner to corner protection for the back of your Wrangler wrapping ever so slightly around the rear corners of your Jeep to help protect the body of your Wrangler and if we move here to the back side of the bumper just around the corner well the first thing you'll notice here are two heavy duty stout recovery points these are designed to accommodate a 3/4 inch d-ring or bow style shackle with a 7/8 inch shackle pin and i really like how the area where these recovery points is mounted is pushed nice and tight to the body again to really help improve and maximize those departure angles when you're climbing off of a ledge or an obstacle on the trail now you really like how they've even cut the bumper up nice and high to the bottom of the body here at the corners to really lessen the chance that your bumper will ever even contact that obstacle now because the bumper does feature such a small profile especially here at the corners you will need to move your license plate from the stock location you can click that info button to head over to quartertech.com to check out all of the different license plate relocation options we have a great option is just like we've done here is to move that license plate up to the center of the spare tire with a spare tire license plate relocation bracket like we've got here from arb you'll also notice that the Canyon rear bumper is designed to accommodate the factory backup and parking sensors now if your Jeep did not come equipped with that option you'll simply use the block off plugs included with the bumper now finally here in the center of the bumper we've got this nice large dip here that's designed to accommodate up to a 35 inch spare tire mounted on the factory tire carrier without any tire relocation brackets or heavy duty brackets needed if you guys want to get more information or to purchase a Canyon rear bumper for your Jeep Wrangler JK or Jeep Wrangler JL you can click that info button to head over to Quadratec.com of course if you have any comments or questions about the bumper or how to get it installed you can always leave those for me down in the comment section below or contact us directly at any of the options on the screen and as always if you haven't already and you like these videos do me a huge favor make sure you hit that thumbs up button don't forget to hit that subscribe button as well as the notification icon so be sure to catch all of our latest videos.
