The high desert in southeastern Utah is a place Jeep visits each spring for the annual Easter Jeep Safari, hauling with it a crop of concept vehicles that boast different looks, parts and powerplant platforms.

And while the brand usually creates these things as ‘one-off’ models, it does love to plant future production elements in some, such as it did before the Gladiator truck launch.

Well, Jeep on Tuesday announced it was going a bit further than just showing off production parts on at least one of its previous concepts, as it revealed a special edition Wrangler Willys 4xe ’41 will be available for the 2025 model year.

“Eight decades after cementing a reputation for all-terrain capability, straightforward design and tough versatility, the spirit of the original Willys MB lives on in everything we do at Jeep brand,” said Jeep’s North American Head of Brand Bob Broderdorf. “The new 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys '41 is a testament to that heritage. It's a celebration of our past that inspires us, while we keep pushing the boundaries of capability and innovation."

You may remember Jeep unveiled a ‘41 Willys concept during the 2022 EJS, complete with a retro olive drab color scheme, plenty of military-inspired badging, throwback wheels, half doors and a bunch of installed Jeep Performance Products— all in a plug-in hybrid design.

Jeep’s 2025 Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 will take some of its design cues from that 2022 EJS concept, and arrives with all the current 4xe specs such as that turbo 2.0-liter engine capable of 275 horsepower and 295 lb/ft of torque on its own (375 horsepower under electric power), LED lighting, front and rear steel bumpers and rear locker.

However, this edition will get special military-themed graphics finished off in a subtle blue, a throwback olive drab color scheme, 17-inch wheels finished in that same color, and 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. Additionally, it will arrive to market with a body-color hardtop, but a unique tan soft top is in the works, as is a Sky One-Touch powertop.

Inside, the vehicle features tan Heritage cloth seats, a special olive dashboard insert and a custom ’41 shifter medallion — all designed to invoke that original Willys MB utilitarian style.

The Willys ’41 special edition retails for $59,930 (not including a $1,895 destination charge and $595 mandatory olive drab paint fee) and is currently available to order.
