For many, the lure of off-road driving is something that tugs and tugs at the heartstrings until that first trail ride is planned. This can be an exciting time and yet after all the planning on where to go and how to drive, it is important to remember that recovery and safety gear is just crucial to bring along for the ride.
This gear can include adding things like D-rings as attachment points on your front or rear bumpers, bringing along tow straps, first aid kits and fire suppression gear. For some trail rides, you may even be required to add a winch to your front bumper (via a winch plate) which can be the ultimate recovery item - not only for yourself, but just in case someone else runs into problems.
