Tuffy Security Speaker Safe Reviews
I absolutely love them!!!
They hold hand tools, tiedowns, aerosol cans, bungee cords, and more. Pretty impressed with the capacity after filling both to the brim!!!
Very well made, and they come with good hardware. I wish these were a little bigger, but there isn't much room over the wheel well to make them any bigger. There is a metal plate that keeps stuff away from your speaker if you mount one in there. They also give you peel and stick weatherstripping, so they seal nice and don't rattle. The welds + powdercoat are good, and the locks work great for now.
The install was pretty easy... I didn't need to completely remove the inner liner for the fender, these just use 2 bolts. You might want to trim them down a little, but having them as long as they are just makes the install easier. It's easy enough to get rid of the metal baffle for the speaker if you want more space in these boxes, that's what I'll be doing. An air ratchet makes the install even easier, and a few drops of nail polish on the fresh metal from the holes you drilled will keep things from rotting too much.
