Painless Wiring 70107 Auxiliary 7-Circuit Fuse Block

This was not quite painless. However, was pretty easy to install and gave me the extra power for lights, fan, digital antenna that I needed. Wired into a 6 rocker switch bar that really made the expansion well worth the extra time. Worked great.

This kit is amazing, and once you figure out where to mount it, installation is not too bad. I bought this for a 2015 JKU.

It mounts quite nicely near the battery using the spacers. (tip: removing the battery makes this process A LOT simpler as it gives you plenty of room to work with). After that, there is a convenient firewall hole just on the other side of that wall. If you remove the side dash trim piece you will see it and can run a wire hanger through it and it will come out in the engine bay. I ran all the wires into the cabin to wire into switches. They weren't quite long enough, but was easily able to extend by connecting on additional wire.

I have not installed this unit yet, because I have not needed it yet. The instructions look very easy, the only thing I may have an issue with, is finding a place to install it under the hood.
