Description
If the front leaf springs on your CJ are no longer holding an arch and have flattened out, its time for some new leaf springs. The Crown Automotive Standard Duty Leaf Spring Assembly will restore your suspension to its factory comfortable ride. Proper springs and front suspension components also improve overall braking performance for added safety. Standard duty leaf springs are recommended for Jeeps at or around their original curb weight. If aftermarket extras have added considerable weight the vehicle, you may want to consider a heavy duty option.

Too lightly sprung for a 76 CJ5 with 304 V8. I'm guessing the extra weight of the V8 requires the HD springs which I currently have on order and will be putting in as soon as they come in. These currently have the Jeep riding about 1.5 inches off the bump stops.
I still give 5 stars because the build quality appears to be good, I just picked the wrong spring.
