Description
This bracket is a compete replacement bracket. In other words, it completely replaces the stock brackets. You remove the stock brackets and this bracket will line up with the holes in the floor pan. The bracket comes with sliders and will allow your seat to slide forward and back for rear access. Designed specifically for Corbeau seats only.

Worked great for installing 05 PT Cruiser seats in my YJ. With the factory brackets the seats sat too high and were slightly uncomfortable for me with short legs. These lowered the seats about 3 inches. I removed the sliders that came with the bracket, and drilled new holes for the width of the PT seats. I had the same small problem others talk about in the leg being short and not matching up with the floor pan, but it wasn't an issue. This bracket also allowed me to weld on an extra piece under the seat to mount my little stereo amplifier out of the way and hidden.

Fits great except the inside front mount is an inch too short so it doesn't touch the floor but it's stable with only 3 bolts so happy

What is the height difference between this bracket and stock? I put new seats (Corbeau) in my daughter's Jeep, and now they sit too high. Will this bracket lower the seat height?
Approximately 1.5"-2" depending how worn out the old seat cushion was. The complete bracket will be closer to a stock seat base height. Thanks for your inquiry.
