Quadratec Maximum Duty Nitro 8.0 Front Shock Reviews
4-8-2017
Excellent choice, great ride for the price. I'll be recommending these to friends for sure.
I added 2.5" of lift and this fit well. They were easy to install but needed some assembly, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Next time I'll spend a little more to get assembled shocks.
I have never been more disappointed in a purchase. I order a lift kit which came with these shocks chose to upgrade to the nitro. When the kit came one of the shocks was leaking oil. After unclipping the shock it did not fully extend. The shock was bad but the other three were good. I returned the shock and had to wait three weeks because they were on back order (this is after waiting over a month for the kit due to the back order.) I just received the new shock and went to install the front portion of my lift. I made it halfway through only to realize the "good" shock I kept and did not return was now bad. I picked it up and it was oily I pressed down on the shock with only slight pressure of my hand and was able to push it most of the way down and as I did oil came shooting out. Quadretec customer service is not open after 5PM or on the weekends (which is the only time I have to work on my jeep...) so now I will have to wait until Monday to get another sent out to me.
