These are great for riding with the doors off. My state doesn't require them, but I like having the mirrors there.
I leave the drivers side mirror mover on all year long. For the passenger side, I install it in the summer when I take the doors off for the first time. When it starts getting too cool to run without the doors very often, I reinstall the mirror on the OEM mount. I leave the OEM mount on the passenger door all of the time. It only takes a few minutes to change the mirror over and then I can see out with the doors on.
