Description
The Crown Automotive Black Mirror Movers are for the Jeep TJ to keep your mirrors when you take the doors off for your trail rides. These brackets reuse the original hinge hardware to secure to the frame and require 87-02 style mirrors for a more stable option than the tube style mirrors. Coated in a gloss black powder coating for superior corrosion protection. Passenger side view is restricted when doors are on.

The point of these brackets is to move the mirrors from the doors to the side of the windshield hinges so you may remove the doors whenever you want and still lawfully have mirrors. The problem is the flaw in the design. The extra material of the bracket directly above the door hinge pins blocks the hinges from being able to slide up. Luckily, if you have a grinder you can do what I did and cut that portion off and repaint it. I basically had to re-engineer the brackets to work as they should. Good thing I enjoy little projects like that but not all of us do so I am writing this to warn those of you planning to purchase these.
