Bestop Sailcloth Replace-a-top Soft Top with Tinted Windows Reviews
Great top for my 2006 LJ. Fits great except the drivers rear corner at the top. The top frame does not sit in the corner of the top material so it makes the top loose on the drivers rear and sometimes will pop out the plastic that holds the top into the channel at the tub. I Love the Sun Rider front and use it often. The sun rider comes on all the LJ tops.
I ordered this in late Fall and was concerned of getting it on before it was too cold. I found a day where the high was 59 degrees and sunny. Laid the new top out flat for about two hours to warm in my driveway. Then I went to work. It took me about 90 minutes to remove and install the new top. I had to trim the two plastic spacers on the rear corner as they were too big for the new to but other than that it went on great. Super excited about this new top. My old one was 14 years old and had a few tears but I was reluctant to buy a new one for fear of poor quality. I didn't realize how bad the windows were and this new one is great. I think it is actually quieter than my old one.
I put the top on my Jeep today. My wife and I laid the top on the lawn and allowed it plenty of time to warm up. It was 75 degrees and cloudy outside. I was concerned because the sun wasn’t out, but we forged ahead anyhow. After about 2 hours, we decided to get started. Approximately 1 hour later, it was time to put the top on the Jeep. The fit was perfect! The new zippers made it really easy to get the windows in. Overall I am extremely pleased. I would definitely recommend this top to everyone.
