Rugged Ridge Max-Terrain Fender Flares Reviews
They are flimsy but that’s actually good for me since I wheel my Jeep quite often and rub the fenders against rocks.
The brackets do rub the grill but all it takes is a little bend inward and the problem is solved.
Overall I like them and the price is very good.
The lights took on water and shorted after only about a month of modest use. The vendor support was awesome and sent out a new pair right away with no fuss no muss. Will report back and see if they went bad because, I had an early batch, or the lights are just inferior. My mechanic tells me very few vendors get these after-market lights, "right." Oracle is one of the few. This is why they are so expensive. For the money I plunked down on these I hope the right stay working.
Design is more than just looks. Daniel P's review was spot on. The fendor is clipped to the body like the original, but feels flimsy. I was unable to reuse any of my plastic push clips, so I used zip tipes to improvise until I can buy some. The light does not align correctly, seems ad-hock and slopy. Lots of design flaws (alignment, stability/support, sloppy light fit, and horrible instructions (really, it was quite badly written). Visually, it's quite an attractive fender flare set, just needs to be revised. Fix the flaws and folks will flock to it. PS, you will ABSOLUTELY need to buy some wheel well liners, you'll see why when you're done with the install. :)
