Many states have laws that limit the maximum height of a lifted vehicle. Never exceed the legal height limit.
Drop Pitman Arm: The included drop pitman arm is designed for use with factory style steering linkage. It is compatible with power steering boxes only
Run Larger Wheels and Tires: By adding additional clearance, the Rough Country 2.5in Suspension Lift Kit allows you to run up to 33x12.50 tires on your Jeep Wrangler CJ.
Smooth Ride: The included transfer case lowering kit is designed to optimize the rear driveshaft angle to eliminate vibration. Rough Country uses Teflon pad inserts in their double tapered leaf springs to improve the ride quality.
N3 Premium Shocks: Rough Country’s N3 shocks provide smooth performance with nitrogen-charged 10-stage variable valving. They are designed to provide a comfortable on-road ride, while improving off-road damping.

Rough Country 4in Suspension Lift Kit Reviews
you bolts didn't fit
Spend the money on a better kit.
1. Springs appear to be mismatched. Jeep sits obnoxiously high in the front and sags in the rear. Front shackles are almost straight-vertical rears are about 45 degrees. Tried removing a leaf from the front springs with no change.
2. Shocks should all be the same length on a 1986 CJ7 because the front/lower shock mount is on the axle not the spring plate - do your homework Rough Country. Check your shock mounts!
3. Instructions are a joke and there is no parts list to confirm I even got all of the right parts - like mismatched springs maybe??? I emailed Rough Country and they never responded.
Probably going to ditch it and order the RubiEx. Kit. A lot more money but hopefully I won't have to listen to the questions and comments about how my Jeep sits.
