Rock Slide Engineering Gen III Step Sliders Reviews
These are awesome! They really help my wife and kids getting in/out. I've slammed them into several boulders, once really hard, and they've held up just great, like I expect, and I'm hard on my gear, especially armor like this and my hunting boots. They function reliably, and are sturdy under load, and can take a hit. I do wish they moved more smoothly when actuating, there is a small "knee" when deploying or retracting, a stall point. That little bit of engineering could be smoothed out, but it's no big deal, they still work fine and look good. The install was easy from a mechanical perspective, but a pain from the electrical perspective, they worked backwards at first, I had to fool the system by switching the wires at the master on/off switch to get them to work right, but oh well, now they work fine. I never take my doors off, so I don't need that on/off switch anyway.
