Rock Hard 4X4 Adjustable Spare Tire Carrier with CB Antenna Mount Reviews
Agree with the above review.
The relocator kit did it's job as far as properly positioning the spare for Rock Hard's rear bumper, but it was a quite disappointing that they did not include rubber plugs to fill the holes once you relocate the bump stops. There also is no accommodation for the length of the third brake light/rear camera harness. It is too short to push it back in place once the height is raised on the spare tire. You will have an extremely hard time trying to push the wiring loom back into the hole to make it weather tight. I called Rock Hard and they gave me a story that most Jeep owners prefer to have the holes exposed so that any water that gets in the tailgate can drain. I argued that if they would include the $5 worth of plugs to fill the vacant holes, there would be no water in the tailgate to air out. He also told me that they would have to charge an extra $100 if they included it with the kit. Rock Hard is sending me a check for $10 to cover the cost of the plugs.
Bottom line, between the rear aluminum bumper, the rear tire relocator kit, shipping and taxes, I gave Rock Hard over $1,200 and they can't kick in rubber plugs and a solution to the rear brake light wiring loom being to short. Be advised.
