This easy to install kit comes complete with a camera, black powder-coated stainless steel mounting bracket, a plug-n-play wiring harness, and installation hardware. To avoid blind spots, the Quadratec Spare Tire Mount Backup Camera features a 170-degree viewing angle camera with integrated fixed parking lines. These guidelines can be deactivated during install by bypassing the line wire.
Factory Stereo Kit Requires Dealership Activation
High-Visibility: The included 170-degree camera offers a wide field of view to eliminate blind spots. The camera features a 1/4in and 1/3in CMOS selectable image sensor that provides 1080p resolution.
Easy Installation: By using push nuts and a plug and play wiring harness, the Quadratec Spare Tire Mount Backup Camera is a breeze to install.
Fixed Guidelines: To assist with parking, the Quadratec Spare Tire Mount Backup Camera features fixed guidelines that are overlaid on the video feed. If you prefer not to have lines, they can be deactivated by disconnecting the line wire on install.
Heavy-Duty Construction: The camera's fully-sealed zinc alloy housing is corrosion resistant, and features an IP68 waterproof rating. For durability and longevity, the included stainless steel camera bracket is finished in a rugged black powder coat.
Complete Kit: The Quadratec Spare Tire Mount Backup Camera includes a plug-n-play wiring harness that is compatible with aftermarket stereo receivers. The version for use with factory stereos includes an Alpine Camera Input Harness (part number ALP-HRN-CAMCH) to adapt the RCA output to the OEM plug.Installation Note for Factory Applications: Reflash at a Jeep dealership is required for activation.

Quadratec Spare Tire Mount Backup Camera Reviews
The directions seem to be for a different camera. Well they did the job, the pictures not really close enough to show you the correct placement of the camera itself. The written wiring instructions worked fine. But the most important part is the camera itself, which I won't know if it works or not until I have the new stereo put in to hook it up and try it out. What note I will say leave yourself some slack in the wire at the camera end.
Great camera for a Jeep that has never had one previously
Able to chose between factory and after market.
