SummitView Adjustable Infrared Light Rear Vision Camera Reviews
Install was somewhat easy, and to program the factory radio was easy as well… have to say was worth the $$ spent.
The camera is a great addition to my ‘18 Sahara Altitude JKU. Here is the issue I had with installation. The directions are pretty much easy to follow as far as the installation goes, the only thing that I could see to improve it would be to recommend or stating the best way to wire it is into the backup light wire which is white with a gray stripe and a factory ground by the left foot kick panel. Now for the programmer, this is where I had issues. First the directions I down loaded didn’t really explain how to install the programmer, and were a bit confusing. The programmer was not set for my application but I believe for the earlier model. Years of 2018 and lower. I have a later ‘18 JKU which uses the same programmer as the JL. I ended contacting Brandmotion who put me in contact with OBDGENIE who told me to down load the OBDGENIE trouble shotting app. After being in contact with the two
Manufacturers and using the app the camera finally worked. Turns out it was a programmer issue which was solved by OBDGENIE. Would I recythis product, yes , does it work , yes , was it worth it ,yes .
Took approximately five hours to install. This time frame included a lunch break, several visits to You Tube, final adjustments of the camera, and then putting everything away. There are several You Tube videos which were very helpful as the instructions are not that great. So far the camera view works well. Now to see if the product withstands the test of time.
