Quadratec Aluminum Inner Fender Liners Reviews
I was driving across the prairie in Oklahoma a while back and one of my front plastic OEM liners decided to bail on me. The wind caught it at freeway speeds and sent it into the tire where it got shredded. I’ve been looking for replacements ever since.
I wanted something cost effective (some brands are way overpriced for a piece of aluminum with a couple of brakes in it). I wanted something fairly easy to install and remove for shock access. Something that was protective and durable. And lastly, something that didn’t look stupid.
Enter the Quadratec aluminum liners. I can only speak for the front ones, but I’m very pleased. Much easier to install than some I’ve put on previous Jeeps. Easy installation, they look nice, the mounting points secure it very well, and all the electronic bits and the engine bay are covered.
One note though. The instructions, as well as Quadratec support, says you have to remove the fender flares to install these. Absolutely not true. There’s no mounting point that you can’t reach with the stock fender flares still on the vehicle. I had both sides installed in less than fifteen minutes. Three screws, pop some fasteners and plastic rivets, and the OEM liners pull right out, giving you access to all necessary mounting points for the Quadratec liners.
Overall, five stars. And I would buy them again.
So another review says this does not fit the Gladiator, but that's only partially true. I have the fronts on my 2020 Gladiator, and they fit without issue. The JL and JT have the same front but unfortunately have a different rear.
That said, I love the look of these inners paired with my Quadratec Baja fenders. I left the Quadratec plate silver but you can easily paint it to match your Jeep or any other accent color you want.
Now if only Quadratec would make a set of rear inners for the JT....
The way they look.
