Description
early Jeeps are not known for their tight steering and precise handling, so anything that you can do to keep a smooth system is advised. The Omix Steering Column Bearing Kit will help with any play or binding that you are experiencing at the bottom of your column. Having a proper working bearing assembly keeps the inner shaft centered and turning as frictionless as possible. All of this helps to keep the other parts of the steering from wearing like the steering gear box or shaft u-joints. Located at the bottom of the steering column where shafts couple.

OMIX Lower Steering Column Bearing Kit Reviews

Product fit well and installation was smooth. Would recommend liberally applying PB Blaster or equivalent to the expansion portion of the collapsible column and the steering shaft where the collapsible column connects as well as at the bearing and retainer.
