Description
The Omix Steel Fender for the TJ Wrangler replaces a rusted or mangled factory fender without modifications. These steel fenders are primer coated at the factory to reduce prep time and protect the fender until its time for paint. Some minor body work may need to be done for final installation and painting. You can reuse the parking lamps and fender flares that you have, as these are pre-punched and drilled for factory accessories. Fits both standard wheel base TJ as well as Unlimited LJ

Great product fit well with no issues only 2 holes I had to drill were for the windshield washer tank. Steel seemed as heavy as original

Both right and left fenders fit perfectly. Everything lined up. No problems on the install whatsoever. Tear down not quite as easy but that is totally expected with the rust. Took about 4 hours each total, start to finish.

The previous owner of my jeep installed tube fenders, and an accompanying aluminum inner fender (like this: https://www.quadratec.com/products/12252_3420_07.htm). Can I install this fender without removing the aluminum inner fender?
If the inner fenders that were installed were not liners but completely replaced the factory inner fender, then you will need to remove them to reinstall the factory style fender that you are looking at. These new fenders include the inner fender.

On my Jeep there appears to be 14 tack welds along the top lip of the fender. This is where the hood aligns with the fender. Is there any way to install the new fender without the welds? How can I break the existing welds without causing any damage?

All of the welded components are present on this fender. This is merely the bolt on finished product. The inner wheel house and brace are already welded like the factory.
