New Century Manufacturing Billet Pedal Pads Reviews
Great grip, easy installation.
These are some very well made aluminum pedals that are incredibly sturdy and offer very good grip in all climates and situations. Snow, ice, mud, sand, and heavy moisture that make your feet slip on your stock pedals will not on these. Installation was easy on the clutch and brake pedals; the hardest part was taking the rubber off; which was done using a flat head screwdriver at the corners and prying it off. The accelerator pedal requires drilling, but you're only drilling through plastic and won't cause a hassle. The instructions do state it is easier to take the pedal off and work on it on a work bench, but I installed this product while mounted on the Jeep. The hardest nut to do is the upper right nut because of the limited inaccessibility due to the floorboard, but you can move the pedal at lease 1cm to get enough clearance to bind the nut with your wrench. The instructions do not tell you what tools you need, but below are the tools I used that made this job very easy.
Cordless Drill with a 3/16" drill bit
3/8" Combination Wrench
A small ratchet wrench with a 1/4" socket for a 1/8" Hex bit.
Total install time took about 20 minutes.
Nice looking pedals once you get them. Installation not so easy given how they install. Hard to reach area and the hardware is an odd size.
