MORryde JP54-016 Tailgate Reinforcement for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

Very heavy duty, only problem is quality control, two of the plastic end caps were messed up. One wasn’t even close to being on, after I prayed it out the ribs on the sides that lock it into the metal frame were all smashed together and because of that when you go to put it in the ribs push together and spill out and don’t allow for it so sit flush. The second plastic cap has a huge crack in it, it wasn’t because of shipping, you could drop it out of a plane at 30,000 feet and it wouldn’t hurt it. The packaging was really well done, but quality control is really bad, I bought another item from them directly and the coating was chipped all over. It was also supposed to be an easy install and only needing to have three bolts taken off, I was up to 10 bolts or so (it was a year or two ago so not sure) but I could NOT get my side fender to move enough to install the hardware for the side jerry can mount, so I eventually returned it. Two products year(s) apart and both had very obvious defects in them that nobody caught before packing it up. But over all they seem decently made if you happen to be lucky and get one that isn’t all messed up. Also was supposed to be shipped from them directly, but maybe because it was a P.O. Box address they shipped it to quadratec instead and made them ship it to me, not a big deal but I was never notified that was happing, I just looked on tracking and saw it was delivered to quadratec. Quadratec was absolutely amazing as always, never ever had a problem with them with anything.
