Mopar Sun Bonnet Reviews
Like the fact that it is pretty much waterproof and it snaps to the vehicle to keep it snug. Not having to worry about Velcro and the ring dry rotting.
This soft top is exactly what I was looking for. It folds up nicely and fits in storage in back. Fits on snug/very tight and can easily be put on by one person. Perfect for when needed for spur of the moment rain or when you’re tired of baking in the sun.
Its okay. I would say 3.5 stars. Installation wasn't too bad. You do have to work for it though. Getting all the snaps took a lot of pulling in the hot sun. Afterwards though, the holes for the windshield bolts did not line up, so I took the windshield down again and unzipped the front part. It was a pain to reattach the zipper, but well worth it, as it really tightened everything up nicely. It still flaps a little in the wind around 50mph All in all I would say it serves its purpose, but I hope to see a better product on the market soon.
Also, the seams are starting to tear a little. There are holes where the stitching is that have expanded due to the pulling, but that is literally the only way you can get all the snaps on.
if you have flapping noise, make sure the two little pockets are over the back freedom top mounts - that helped out quite a bit with flapping noise.
