Description
The Mopar Tailgate Bar for the Wrangler JL is an exact factory replacement for the original that may be misplaced or on the side of the road somewhere. The tailgate bar is important to keep the rear curtain window closed tight against the body, keeping water and weather out. Simply slides onto factory rear windows and clamps into the brackets that are supplied with the soft top.

I have a 2020 jeep wrangler unlimited jl and it is a hardtop. I have a smittybilt tonneau cover and was sent a tailgate bar for a jk. The one u have on this site can i use it even tho I have hardtop?
es this is the correct bar that the Smittybilt tonneau will need for the JL Wranglers. Make sure you have the side retainers as well to hold the bar down. You can find those under the "Our Experts Recommend" along with the Tailgate Bar
