Description
Because of the shape of the dash on JL Wranglers and JT Gladiators, it can be difficult to upgrade the original sound systems. Without the Metra Custom Fit Front Speaker Pods, standard speakers simply will not fit. These ABS plastic speaker housings conveniently mount in the factory location and utilize factory grommets and hardware. The Metra Custom Fit Front Speaker Pods accommodate 6in to 6.75in speakers, and include a pair of wiring adapters.

Build quality is fine and they are what they are, and this isn't a knock on this product, but the opening is for a 6.5" speaker but the perforated section of the dash is only 4". I didn't realize that until I bought these as well as a pair of 6.5" speakers! I figured instead of covering up half of a 6.5", I just ordered a better pair of 4" speakers and I'm going to use the factory pods.
