LoD Offroad Destroyer Series Rock Sliders Reviews
First the packaging: This package arrived with no marks, dents or tears in the packaging (shipped FedEx). Upon opening it, we found the sliders were wrapped in plastic with the appropriate spacers added. Then the entire inside of the package was filled with spray-in foam. To say the least the parts were in perfect shape and everything was there.
The installation is not a one person job. If you have lots of clamps it is easier. The instructions are perfect, easy to understand and the photos were great. Once I had the clamping sequence right, it was a snap to put on. The three optional holes that are suggested were easy to do with what was supplied. After installation, they looked great.
I added these so my wife can get in the jeep.
One added bonus is that these also serve as a mud guard. There are those time you have just cleaned your jeep and you want it clean for awhile and these limit mud and flying rocks from hitting the sides of the jeep.
I am very satisfied with this product. On my black jeep, they look just like the pictures on the web site. Great Job!!!
Super protections, very, very, well thought out fixation, it's the best in my opinion and this without having to drill the bodywork.
As I have the 2.2 liters turbo Diesel engine, on the driver side there is a long bolt provided in the kit that is impossible to put, because "FCA-Jeep" decided to use a hole in the chassis to weld a rod / bracket for the engine exhaust line, so the original hole is completely plugged by this rod that goes through the chassis and is welded on both sides !!
Despite this problem, I'm really, very, very, happy with this purchase.
The packaging of the package is perfect, even with shocks during transport there is little risk that it is damaged (my package crossed the ocean to another continent).
There nice, great build quality. The only issue we had was the front mount on the passenger side is blocked by the skid plate. While it does say this, you need to be very careful while you make the notch in the skid plate to avoid hitting the frame.
