Fishbone Offroad Step Slider Pair Reviews
Very impressed. A car low speed T-boned rear driverside, tire shifted rear track bar, tire to frame. The side steps stopped the impact from hitting the body with barely a scratch.
Very tuff.
Good sturdy look, seems to hold up to abuse well.
One star off for not covering pinch seam. But they are frame mount, and they work great for a step. Passenger side does require a hole drilled in the frame and using included hardware to make it as sturdy as possible. Seems fine for a step without but it is highly recommended and for best protection from rocks etc... you should do it.
As a step they are great, posted a pick of my 6 year old who went from struggling to get in and out to hopping right in and out. 2 Door now car rider line ready... and better protected. Have not done the passenger side drilling yet, we may get something else because we are not a fan of the pinch weld being so prominent (see pics assuming they were approved).
They definitely do NOT fit with the Rubicon rails as they indicate in the Q&A. I will leave to your imagination how I found out. It is SO close, think they could have a really great product if they modified these to work in concert with the OEM Rubicon rails as it would look a LOT cleaner.
