Gorilla Automotive Forged Steel Racing Lug Nut Kit 23pc Chrome 14mm X 1.50 Thread for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL

First off, I want to say, I got the black ones, not chrome. That being said, I’ve had them for less than a year, and they are rusting already. I haven’t even been out wheeling with them, just back and forth to work. They are showing a lot of rust, at this price point I expect quality and longevity. When I bought then, I was worried about rust. The person that I spoke to at Quadratec said just don’t use an impact gun and they’ll be fine. They have only been put on and taken off with a hand ratchet. That’s not even where they are rusting, it’s primarily on the knurled end that sticks out of the rim so you can spin them off and on. I love that feature, that’s why I bought them. However it’s the most visible part of the lug, and the rustiest. I’m going to contact Quadratec and see what we can do. I will also be contacting Gorilla. This is unacceptable.
I was going to give them 1 star, but I do love the design of them. They work with my Mickey Thompson rims perfectly.
