Gorilla Automotive Factory Style Acorn Lug Nut 7/8" Hex Bulk 14mm x 1.50 Reviews
The Gorilla nuts are so much better than the Amazon comparable. I got a set of ‘21 Rubicon wheels and put them on my 2000 TJ. I had custom wheel centric adapters made and the Gorilla nuts worked perfectly with their locking set to. I bought the Amazon nuts because the Gorillas were out of stock everywhere. I backordered this set and swapped them out later. To me Gorillas are better in these ways:
1. They plug the threads when powder coating, the cheap ones clog\fowel the threads.
2. They have a much harder finish. The cheap ones coating crushed and chipped with just hand tools
3. They have a full seat on the beveled edge of the nut.
4. They are lower profile.
way better than factory capped lug nuts and look way better too
Be careful. Five out of twenty lug nuts had the threads spalled enough that if you just hit them with the impact the lugs likely will cross thread. I had to hand start them and carefully back them out and back in to safely start them. Gorilla has a great reputation but like everyone else now, they must be skimping on the quality control to get product out the door.
