Requires ECM and TCM swap. Please see Install Instructions for more details
Superchip Owners Please Note any Jeep JK that has been modified by a Superchips device will need a new ECM before installing our supercharger kit. Superchips devices modify the ECM’s bootloader function which prevents it from communicating with other aftermarket programmers. Customers can work with their local FCA dealerships to purchase and install the new ECM before the supercharger

Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Reviews
I’m pretty happy with the product. Yes, the factory states it’s 285 to the wheels. In reality I was getting around 201HP, 195 ftlbs of torque at 6,700 ft of elevation at the wheels. After the install and flashing the Edelbrock tune with the Diablo same elevation I was putting out 303HP, 276 ftlbs of torque. I’m running 33” wheels on a Rubicon Recon edition. Edelbrock does require a ASE Certified Mechanic to in stall it on your ride to warranty all components, you do need to be within your 36/36,000 warranty for the Edelbrock extension of 36/36,000 on your drivetrain. This is the fine print. I ended up paying 4x4 parts a little over $1200 to install it my quote before install was $1080, I had them just buy the additional coolant and oil required. If you’re mechanically inclined, the directions are easy to follow. I would’ve been confident I could do the install myself. I just wanted the extended drivetrain warranty. My only suggestion would be pull your ECU and TMP about a week before you take it to the shop (then you’d have to tow it to the shop) if you go that route. It does take about 7-10 days to get your ECU and TMP back from Edelbrock. You don’t get your tuner in your kit Edelbrock sends it back with your ECU and TMP. Over all it sounds fantastic and it really does give you at least 50% in gains. I spent months researching all the superchargers out there. I picked Edelbrock because it was the only one that I felt had the superior design. They crafted the product so it doesn’t require any modifications to your OEM parts IE hood, engine bay, and you can still remove your oil filter easily. Magnuson does have a high elevation kit, but wasn’t designed in my opinion as a 100% bolt on like the Edelbrock. I did submit a photo of my engine.
