DynoMax Muffler Elimination Pipe Reviews
Love it
Great muffler elimination mod. Looks much cleaner and increases ground clearance. The downside is the additional exhaust noise. It is noticeable louder.
Vehicle: 2019 JLUS 2.0L Turbo
Removal of OEM muffler was the longest part of this install (30 mins). Took me about an hour to remove old muffler and install new muffler delete pipe. Personally I like the sound, with my 2.0L it only is just a little bit louder when I’m on the gas, but at idle the loudness is about the same. Definitely sounds more aggressive while giving it moderate gas pedal. There is no drone even at Highway Speeds for me and with just a performance air filter and this muffler delete, I noticed a difference in how the vehicle stays in 8th gear a lot better.
I personally did this upgrade to free up the back end from the OEM muffler for future mods and light - moderate off road clearance AND better power delivery and gas mileage by removing the restrictions from the exhaust. The extra grunt after about 2200rpms is just an added plus. I cannot speak for my Pentastar 3.6L V6 brothers but, I have no drone at any cruising speeds in my 2.0L.
All in all, fairly easy upgrade for a good price.
