    I hate to leave a negative review, but after having this product for over a month I have no choice. The finish of the product is excellent. It's very shiny and high gloss. The issue is the fit. When the product arrived the top lip was not molded to the correct angle. Putting it on this way created an almost 2" gap all along the panel. I had to slowly bend the top an additional 45 degrees myself. This was not easy as the metal is fairly thin in some areas so it wanted to warp. I FINALLY got it bent to the correct angle after a lot of trial and error and now it fits, but it went from a 30 min job to hours.

    I knew it was high gloss so I don't hold that against the manufacturer, but something I didn't consider with high gloss is this. When the top is off and the sun is behind you and hits this, it can be almost blinding. You can feel the heat coming off of it too. Just consider that if you're going with the high gloss finish.

    Questions

    This shows 5 gauge cutouts. My 90 YJ has only 4. I am confused
    This dash overlay only fits OE gauge cluster with 5 gauge openings. MTS company has an aftermarket cluster that has only 4 gauges, and this overlay will not fit with those. Thanks for your inquiry.
    Does this replace the plastic plates? Or does it just adhere over the top of them?
    This is designed for and lines up with the plastic fascia in place. It installs over top.
    Is this the metal backing that covers the front speakers?
    It is not. This is a dash overlay designed to go over your factory dash to change the look. We do not offer that metal speaker backing at this time.
