Crown Automotive RT33016 Rough Trail Tri-Fold Shovel
Part of every off-road kit should be a shovel, but they take up so much space, unless you have this Folding Shovel from Crown Automotive. Features a serrated edge on the one side of the shovel blade for cutting and a black powder coat finish which will stand up to the abuse. Extends to 23" and locks into place then folds down to 9" and stores in a convenient, black nylon storage bag.

I've only used this for digging at the beach. I needed it once but that was months before I even ordered it. It's like most recovery tools though. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Haven't used yet, but looks like it is of good quality.
Love this shovel! Its more heavy duty than expected. To people saying the thread gets stuck i thought the same. I tried turning from the handle and head and the nut wouldn’t budge. Turns out if you hold the center just below the nut it turns no problem. It acts like a locking mechanism so it doesnt come undone in use. Pretty awesome.
