Reviews for Crown Automotive RT33016 Rough Trail Tri-Fold Shovel

I've only used this for digging at the beach. I needed it once but that was months before I even ordered it. It's like most recovery tools though. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Love this shovel! Its more heavy duty than expected. To people saying the thread gets stuck i thought the same. I tried turning from the handle and head and the nut wouldn’t budge. Turns out if you hold the center just below the nut it turns no problem. It acts like a locking mechanism so it doesnt come undone in use. Pretty awesome.

Included an unexpected case for the shovel. It exceeds expectations.

Better than not having a shovel at all. Not the sturdiest, best quality but decent for the price.

Nice but my only fuss is when I tighten it in the unfolded position it doesnt want to loosen.. Tried several things and it just takes alot of fussing and wiggling.. Its almost like a bur in the threads or something, but its worth the money and not bad at all otherwise
