Reviews for Bestop Retractable Sunshade for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

i was really excited to get this..the guys at trim-tech did their best to try and install it but it is not compatable with the sunrider bestop twill roof. I have a 2 door wrangler and am really really dissapointed. its a shame because I would have thought all their products would be compatable...and there would at least be a dire warning. If it was smaller i could maybe be use it as a book end.

POS. After waiting almost a year on backorder, I received it a couple months ago. I used it maybe 5 times. It was great until one of the cheap plastic hooks snapped on the passengers side. Reached out to Bestop for replacement hook, but looks like I'm going to be waiting a long time again for them to respond.
Seriously not worth the aggravation.

Nice idea but it just does not work. I have had other Mesh tops and the material on this one is much thinner. I don't see it lasting more than two summers.

Also, when I got on the highway it flapped and it acted like it was a sail for the jeep. Unusable on speeds greater than 50.

Was a very nice sunshade. However, I got this to go along with the all new trektop NX Plus and guess what, they won’t work together. Of course I didn’t find out til after it was installed. The new sunrider bars of the top hit the sunshade not allowing the top to close. Shame on Quadratec for not listing this on their website. All it says is it fits with all tops minus the trektop pro. And shame on Bestop for not making their own parts compatible. Thought I installed it wrong but found this bit of info from Bestops website that it won’t work together. Will have to return.
