This took some work to install but works just fine in my 4xe. You will need a Tazer to configure the tow package in the software or have the dealer do it, ouch and cha-ching.

After I installed this product I hooked up my trailer and none of the lights worked.
I used a test light On the Vehicle and it showed all was good.
After further inspection it was found that the factory ground wire on the trailer and one of the brake light grounds was bad. A reground was done hooked the trailer back up to the vehicle and everything is working just fine.
