Reviews for Mopar Cargo Tray for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Nice cargo liner!!!! Little expensive but good quality...very easy to Install...about 40 min...instructions not that clear but YOU TUBE got a couple of videos recommend to watch video before intallation
This mat matches nicely with the Mopar front mats. Use an exacto knife to cut the carpet when installing. Not scissors. There are preformed holes just under the carpeting you use as a guide. Use the mat itself as a guide to locate these holes. They are right under where the snaps are. Just think about it before you start cutting and you will be fine. The mats snap in and out easily just as the front mats do. I would buy them again.
Great product. Easy to install in my Rubicon if you follow the instructions. Take care with the clips when removing the gap hider. I used a small padded pry-bar & worked them out back and forth slowly. Looks great!
The mat itself is great though I wish it had an option for a wider version. The rear mat does not go all the way to the sides of the cargo area, probably to allow for mounting rails. This leaves access to the tie downs but also plenty of room for mud and dirt to slop over. I do like the way the mat integrates with the seats and factory gap protector. The install directions are typical factory, somewhat unobvious at first. I did break one of the plastic tabs removing the gap cover, and had to pull the inserts and bend the capture spikes back down. If I did it again I would leave it in place and cut out the tabs from inside the Jeep, sitting on the rear seat with the hide flaps up.

Clip broke. Otherwise they are okay.
I recommend this item. Well made with the only fear being the need to cut into your rear seats to set the anchor points. I have used to protect my back set from plenty of heavy and pointed items. Also, it eases cleanup whenever that arises.
I ordered the appropriate cargo mats for my trim level with leather seats. The gap filler came factory installed. I watched the install video (cloth trim specific) and had no issues cutting the holes for the grommets in the back of the seats. Unfortunately, the instructions were not really clear on how best to cut holes in the grommets for the gap hider. The instructions seem to indicate that your remove the gap hider. This was a bad idea. The metal clips will rip off the plastic tabs that hold it into the bracket. It cannot be reinstalled. You could maybe release the metal clips by squeezing with a pliers underneath the gap filler bracket to remove it safely, but it may be best just to carefully remove the grommet cutouts with the gap hider still in place. (For the cloth seats trim, you can cut the holes in the gap filler before you install it as is described in the video.) A new gap hider and grommets for it cost more than the whole cargo mat kit for the leather trim item and almost as mush as the cloth seat trim set. I wound up buying the cloth trim cargo mat set so I could replace the broken gap hider. The value seemed better to pay a bit more and at least have a spare set of the mats. I wish the otherwise extremely helpful installation video on Quadratec had addressed this. I am please with the product itself, but the Mopar instructions are nearly useless.
Watch the installation videos on YouTube so you know what you are doing before you need to cut the carpet on the backs of your seats. I watched several videos which prepared me for the knot I had in my stomach at the thought of cutting into my new Rubicon Unlimited. I completed the cutting of the carpet creating the 15 holes needed to install the cargo mat and seat-back protectors earlier in the day before my delivery arrived. When the box arrived, it was slightly damaged and the bag containing the fasteners was not sealed. A couple of the fasteners were missing. I called customer service at Quadratech and was happy to hear that they are shipping me a whole new set as that is the fastest way to get the fasteners. I forgot just how great their customer service really is (as I had sold my previous jeep quite a while ago). 4 star rating only for the missing parts. I would rate customer service as 5 stars... I will continue to buy from this seller.
Great looking, matches the front and rear mats. Utube for a better understanding of installation. Took me about 1/2 hour to put in.
