Is this necessary when going to 33” tires from the stock JLU sport 31” tires?
Not required, but if you are planning more off-roading, it would be a prudent consideration. Thanks for your inquiry.

How much weight can the tailgate handle with the reinforcement installed?
Mopar rates this at 85lbs. Thank you for the question.

does this provide the plate light feature as the original?
This is installed in addition to the original tire carrier, so it will keep all factory options and features.

I bought this kit last year beginning last year and now finally had my Jeep lifted and have 37 " tires. I lost the 4 bolts and spacers. Do you sell just the bolts and spacers?
If not can you tell me the length of the 4 M10 button bolts and the thickness of the spacers.
Thanks

Is there a hi-lift jack mount that can be used with this kit?
Mopar has holes tapped for accessories such as jack holders, but nobody seems to be using that as an attachment point. Even Jeep does offer anything for that.

Is this needed for a JL with 35” or will the factory one be enough?
You will need this for 35" tires

Can this be used with the existing spare tire carrier equipment? Not planning on bigger tires at the moment-just want to get the tailgate reinforcement installed for motivation.
Yes, it designed to work with the original tire carrier assembly.

Can a Roto-Pax fuel tank be carried on this hinge?
We are not aware of any brackets to adapt the Roto-Pax to this hinge system yet. There are mounting points for accessories but nothing specific yet.

There are two threaded holes - one on each (top and bottom) arm of the bracket, close to the hinges. Are those used to install the bracket to the tailgate? Or are those available to mount accessories such as a Hi-Lift jack, CB antenna, etc.?
There are a total of 4 holes for mounting accessories. There is a threaded hole at the top- behind the wheel for an antenna to mount, the two holes over the hinge and the hole in the center above the Jeep badge will be for accessories. At the moment Jeep has nothing to go there, but I am sure someone will adapt to it soon.
