Reviews for Sony DSX-A415BT Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth

Plug & play install for my vehicle.
I like this a lot. Can use Bluetooth or simply plug in your phone with a USB and will connect as you charge your phone. I also like how you can add extra bass. Down side is the beeping when you turn off your car. It’s a fun tune but gets annoying after awhile in my opinion
This thing is awesome for the money. So many features and they all work great.
Replaced my factory in-dash. My 2000 Wrangler came with the predecessor to this model (no Bluetooth). Keep the manual in the glove box. So many features you'll need to refresh your memory
Good receiver. Bought the kit and everything was plug and play. It couldn’t be easier!
Great unit with good sound and great pickup of channels. Installed in a 98 Grand Cherokee ZJ, replaced the factory unit. Bought the installation kit to go with the unit - a very wise move. The direct connect harness is highly recommended - much easier than trying to cut and splice numerous short wires, and the bezel fit perfectly.
The blue tooth for my Android phone was a very quick setup. Connected quickly and works well. The build in mic works well and the sound on both ends of calls is clear.
The dial is a bit sensitive and can easily go to settings if hit too hard - but just have to get used to handling it softly when changing volume. Overall, a great unit with a great installation kit from Quadratec.
Super easy install, instructions were good. A pro tip (opinion) below on the trim kit supplied, but first...stereo sounds awesome and adding the install kit and getting the prewired harness is worth the kit price alone. Once I had the factory radio out and new radio prepped, install was 5 minutes - ZERO wiring and factory subwoofer worked great.
Regarding the supplied trim piece - I would shelve it and find the Metra 99-6503 one on Amazon (less than $15). The one supplied in the Quadratec kit looks like a custom job - and not in an aesthetically pleasing way. Very odd design. The slot it provides I assume for phone storage won’t fit my iPhone with a case anyway. The Metra one looks really close to an OEM install to me and I was going for a clean look. I added a pic. Again, kit worth every penny even without (intentionally) using the Q supplied trim piece.
