Installed fairly easy and I believe offers better protection then the OEM plates. Now I just need to add the muffler plate.

Easy install, took me about 2 1/2 hours to get the engine and transfer plates on, and I'm not what you would say is an expert. Some comments...

If you aren't lifted, the space under the Jeep is tight to work. Even lifted, it's pretty tight under there but workable.

Those ear things, the threads were a little burled. Run the bolts through first, saves a ton of hassle.

Overall the instructions are OK, but at times confusing. Like the parts with where to put the ears. It's obvious once you see it, but the pictures don't help. I really wish they'd publish a video with it.

If you're doing the transfer plates too, don't tighten anything down first. You'll just have to undo it.

Otherwise very easy, would have been an hour job or less if I had a lift and help. Very solid but lightweight. The cross bar seems heavier than the entire plate. I haven't tested it get offroad, but soon enough.

Installed both in about 2 hours solo (4 stars as I haven't tested it off road yet). Highly recommend to install evap cannister skid BEFORE the transfer case skid as the two forward factory evap bracket bolts will be difficult to access otherwise.
Tip - the oil pan access is with a 4mm HEX (NOT a phillips).

Very sturdy skid plate and the finish is great. The packaging was also very good. Instructions were very good and pretty easy to follow. I installed this by myself without raising my Jeep. I do have a 2” lily kit and 33’s so I was able to do everything in my garage. I gave this 3 stars because of 2 issues that I had. One was there were 3 washers missing which I had to go purchase. The 2nd issue was the 4 Phillips head screws for the oil drain area had stripped heads. That’s not acceptable for the price that these cost. Quadratec may want to do a quality assurance audit on their people/process.
