These bolted in perfectly and in minutes. Quality was fine on the hardware so they must have corrected that. Made a huge difference from 5.25 to 6.5. Sound quality over my aftermarkets were much better. The kickers are a great product in my book. Took the advise of others and stuffed the sound bar with poli fil. Sounds great and a needed boost now with the top off for fall and winter(I live in FL).

Purchased these speakers 8-26-19. Sound quality is noticeably improved. Previous reviewers noted that the quality of the hardware (machine screws) provided was weak. It would seem this issue has been resolved, as installation took around 20 minutes and required no other drilling, and the hardware provided in the kit secured the speakers/adapter plates very well.

5 STARS for the speakers as they are a great improvement over the originals in my TJ. I also have the upgraded Kicker CS in the front all being driven by a small amp I bought online. HOWEVER I did read how other buyers were having trouble with the screws. I assumed Quadratec would have fixed it by now. They have not. The machine screws provided are the wrong size! I had to drill the hole bigger and then bought sheet metal screws. 15 min install turned into 2 hours because of the trip to the store. Still would buy again, but it would be nice if they read the reviews like we do.

Installed in my 2002 TJ in about 10 minutes total. I don't care to learn about stereo/speaker wiring so I wanted a plug and play upgrade for the blown out OEM speakers, these did not disappoint. 10/10, would buy again.

Speakers were east to install, took me about 15 mins. They look and sound great

Installed new pair of 6.5" to replace the working stock set. They are an improvement so much I replaced the dash pair. They make for a Great Father's day project and are worth it, just don't expect the world to stop spinning Next will be the Kicker tweeter set and Quadratec Sub ?

Old, original speakers seemed to be needing replacement (15 years old!) These were easy to install and sound as though they made a decent improvement. Had replaced subwoofer about a year ago; so now all sounds good! (Front speakers still sound great in my Jeep, as I have the upgraded sound system from 2003...the other original speakers had worn out, though.)

Excellent sound. Easy to install. Better than a pro could possibly perform. It took 3 shipments to get the right ones but it was worth the wait.

Plug and play wiring makes this about a 15 minute job. Just be sure to have the adapter plate facing the right way. Rookie mistake. Big improvement over the originals.

Better sound than stock and an easy upgrade in terms of installation. The Jeep is never going to sound like the B&W system in my Volvo XC60 Polestar, but I was surprised by the improvement over the OEM roll at speakers. Was disappointed that whoever packaged up the self-tapping screws only put 3 of what were supposed to be 4 for each speaker. Had to make a quick trip to the hardware store to get enough screws. They shorted my kit for both the mounting brackets and the speakers, so it was likely an employee who misunderstood their instructions, rather than a one-off.
