Reviews for Smittybilt 2834 Nut-Sert Tool
Poor quality. The tool broke on the second nutsert I was installing and it wasn't even tight.
Broke on the first 5/16 nutsert did not even get it tight before it broke.
I should have believed the other reviews I've seen around which talk about breakage. I was able to install 14 5/16" nutserts for my poison spyder rear crusher flares but the knob used to back the tool out after compressing snapped clean off right at the end of installation of the 14th. I believe there is a fundamental flaw in the design and instructions of this tool leading to a too long working stroke placing additional stress on the tool itself. While it was much faster and easier to use this than the free tool included with the flares the immediate failure (literally the 14th fastener installed with it) prevents me from recommending this tool.
