Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 07-18 Wrangler JK 2 Door
Fits great easy to install and easy to clean. After a spring and summer season with the top off the vivid red is beginning to fade to pink. If needed I'll go with black or charcoal next round.
Do yourself a favor, takes the seats out and take the back off, shoving the material between the top and bottom is very difficult. The fit is very loose and the air bag opening just won't close right. I got the charcoal gray, which looks bluish. I guess for $200 and with free grab handles, it is what it is.
Comfortable seat covers however they fade quickly as mine are only 2 years old and they tear at the seam as you get out.
Product quality is good, but installation is a headache. Video says around 1hr. Ha, Ha what a bunch of BS. More like 4hrs..2013 Wrangler JK 2dr. I'm very mechanical and very hands on with installations. This was not easy, not like video at all..its a JOB !!! Installation instructions were useless..After 4 hrs there on, look OK but not snugg as I would like..some of my velcro straps around seat adjuster handle tore off??
Easy to install but after 6 months they faded really bad.
Not as nice as I was expecting based on the various things I’d heard about them. They’re alright, but after using them for a few months I wish I’d used the money I spent on these on actual custom fit covers. These try to move around and aren’t very water resistant. They’re already stained and have a couple holes in them. If you’re not getting in and out a lot, and aren’t muddy or wet or dirty when you get in, they’ll probably work fine. Otherwise, I’d recommend biting the bullet and getting some nicer ones.
These are a bit thinner than neoprene covers I have had in the past, and frankly the fit is a bit sloppy. I used these to replace my non-waterproof Bartact covers (which fit like a glove), and I am not sure if I regret it or not. Other than the fit being baggy and gaps between the seat back and bottom seat covers exposing the (outboard) parts of the seats most susceptible to rain, and the head covers' velcro portion being a sloppy fit, I think these covers might fulfill my needs. Only time will tell if I put the Bartact covers back on and scotchguard them. I am a buyer of wetsuits for the dive industry and I will tell you, if you are expecting a wetsuit-like material, you will be disappointed. It may contain neoprene rubber, but that is where the similarity ends. I estimate the neoprene thickness (not counting the foam backing) to be .5mm thick.
I have had these seat covers installed for less than 6 months. Heavy fade. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend.
Great initial purchase but significantly faded after a year. I replaced them with a different brand.
Excellent fit and quality. They fade quickly tho red seats are now pink :(
