Reviews for Vision X Vortex Halo LED Headlight Pair for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
in my opinion these are the best lights on the market.
Great lights, have been running these the past 3 years. Only issue is with all LEDs, if you get stuck in a wet snow, it will cake on the lens and you will have to pull over. Make sure to go heated LEDs if you live somewhere it snows a lot. Wiring was simple enough. I love the halo DRL look. Plenty bright and you won't see many other JKs out there with these. Only once did I have a strange issue with the right light. Went very dim, took the front grill off and it seemed the wire connector was a tiny loose. Pushed it in and corrected the problem. No flicker, pattern seems ok. I would also strongly recommend you get the Hi-4 adapters. If you are using your brights, you want them bright. This does the trick. The dark chrome is not black by any means. More of a pewter color so be prepared for that if you were expecting a blackout look. Highly recommend
Did a ton of research and decided to go with these. The perfect amount of brightness. Bright white. Very visible during the day
Installation was super easy.
These lights are great and are very easy to install. Well worth the money.
Installed this lights today these lights are really bright than any other brand of headlights available in the market. The installation is simple it took only one hour for me to install these lights. It's wroth the money. The built is super strong quality and new models comes with integrated anti flickers. Best headlights for the jeeps
These headlights are super friggin bright! Be sure to aim them down about a full turn below where your factory headlights are or your will straight up blind incoming traffic. The halos are cool and the included can buses are as good as they come (no flicker, very short delay between high and low beams). * Do use dielectric grease on your connections, zip tie the connectors together and plan to clean them with contact cleaner once every 6 months or so - not just for lights specifically - just something you should do with aftermarket jeep lights to protect against dirt/sand in the connector.
I had an issue where two of the segments of the halo went out about two weeks after installation, the good guys at Quadratech shipped out a replacement set right away. Great lights, fantastic service from Quadratech.
I purchased the VisionX headlights for my Jeep JKU 2011, These lights are the best, very bright with he Halos which I connected to my driving lights. Easy installation, it took me 1 hour to install. My next purchase will be the O-HLH14 adapter that will keep both the high beam and driving lights on.
Excellent product and you get what you pay for, as I was worried that the higher price might leave me lacking against the competition. I should have ordered the Vision X Fog Lights from you too, I tried a competitor, "mistake".
I purchased the VisionX headlights for my 2014 Wrangler unlimited Rubicon X. They are awesome. They are very bright. I have halos as my running lights for the headlights and the fog lights. I purchased the black chrome, they look great. I also purchased the module that keeps the low beams on when I activate my high beams. When I put on my high beams, my VisionX Optimus fog lights also come on. Super bright. I highly recommend this product.
I had the same problem as Steve and Stephen. Both the anti-flicker adapter and the headlight itself will not lock in to the Jeep headlight connector on my 2010. I'm hesitant to trim any excess material. However, the lights work fine with some zip-ties.
I had never done any wiring but with some Googling and a few trips to the hardwire store I had everything I needed to wire the halos. For anyone else unsure, you'll need female connectors, some extra wire, and wiretaps if you wire them to your parking lights like I did.
