Reviews for Bedrug Hardtop Headliner Kits for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
It's embarrassing to BedRug that they released this product to market. As so many others have said, the adhesive is totally insufficient. It doesn't help that the material has a natural curve to it, so it's constantly trying to pull itself loose. BedRug's solution was to send me a roll of 3M tape that's supposedly stronger than whatever came pre-applied. Between this and the absolutely terrible BedTred floor liners that I made the mistake of buying, I am done with this company.
cheap material
Product does not stay attached to the front freedom panels...keeps drooping! Disgusted! Help me please!
This product does not stay up on roof. I have put a lot of double backed tape. I read and followed the instructions.
Does not stay attached to the inside of the roof. VERY unhappy.
Does not work, don't buy it
supplied tape wont stick on foam panels. Total sham ! Always satisfied with parts I buy hear but these panels are just junk. They should not be sold to anyone . Customer service is non-existence. Waited on hold 42 minutes ,no answer. Time to find new jeep part source.
This product is very disappointing. I have a great deal of respect for Quadratec because i believe they vet the products before standing behind them. I know bedrug makes great products, but this one has a major flaw. The supplied 3M tape does not adhere to the pad. When your hard top experiences direct sunlight on a warm day the pads just fall off. The tape sticks to the top but not to the pad. Considering the tape comes pre-applied to the pads you would expect they did their research to make sure it works. Everyday i get in the jeep a have to reset the pads to the hard top. Its annoying and distracting. A person should not have to spend money on a product and then have to worry about re-engineering it to make it work as promised.
Tape used does not stick to the foam back. Sticks just fine to the interior surface but these keep falling because the tape is not made for this type of material. I have now purchased three different types of tape but nothing seems to adhere to the mats back foam surface. If you purchase these be prepared to use a monster glue or something heavy duty. Otherwise they look nice.
